The Comox Valley is situated mid-way up Vancouver Island’s east coast. It is bordered to the west by the Beaufort Mountains and the breathtaking Comox Glacier and on the east by the Strait of Georgia. The Valley extends as far south to Fanny Bay and north to Oyster River. Within the Comox Valley there are the townships of Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland.

The name “Comox” is adapted from the local K’omoks First Nations word for plenty, “Komuckway”— and there is certainly plenty of natural beauty, wildlife and recreational opportunities in the Comox Valley year-round. During the dry summers, Comox enjoys an average temperature of 18° C and the outdoor enthusiast can enjoy activities like rock climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking.
